Sensually staged brand world for MINI in Frankfurt
The new BMW MINI flagship store in Frankfurt sets benchmarks in interior design and brand staging. New and used cars are clearly presented separately on approximately 2,500 m², divided by a central axis featuring a shop and event area. The goal of the project was to stage the vehicles in a manner that was not only functional but also emotionally engaging, enabling flexible lighting moods according to the time of day or occasion.
Targeted lighting accents and clean lines for a strong brand presence.
The lighting design was precisely attuned to the architectural concept. In the "MINI Next" area, a linear lighting concept with dimmable SLOTLIGHT luminaires ensures uniform, objective illumination, while CARDAN LED recessed ceiling luminaires create targeted lighting accents on the new car side. The result: a perfectly orchestrated showroom where light deliberately evokes emotions and emphasises the brand message.
Precise lighting concept for consistent brand presence at every parking space
SLOTLIGHT II linear luminaires with a naturally anodised aluminium housing and CARDAN LED luminaires were used, amongst others. This combination offers high-quality lighting, maximum flexibility, and a minimalist design that seamlessly integrates into the architecture. Thanks to the carefully planned lighting grid, each vehicle position can be optimally illuminated – ensuring a consistent brand experience.
Flexible control meets energy-efficient technology
By using the DALI lighting management system, various lighting moods can be programmed and retrieved – depending on the time of day, event, or campaign. The dimmable luminaires not only reduce power consumption, but also enhance comfort for clients and staff. Even though bespoke luminaires were not developed, sustainability was the focus: through targeted light direction, efficiency, and durable LED technology.
