Modern chalet ambiance meets brand presentation at the highest level
The Bogner store in Hamburg was fundamentally redesigned in 2019 to create a modern yet warm shopping experience. The goal was to merge a cohesive lighting concept with a new interior design that authentically represented the luxury brand Bogner. The challenge was to create an inviting atmosphere for customers and to present the products in a way that aligns with the brand - focusing on naturalness, elegance, and the emotional impact of lighting.
Experience architecture: accentuated lighting for atmosphere and functionality.
Zumtobel developed a lighting concept that specifically addresses the architecture and materiality of the store. A harmonious interplay of light and space was achieved through the use of warm light tones, precise accentuation, and balanced general lighting. Special highlights, such as the exposed concrete wall on the staircase, were impressively showcased using the DIAMO LED downlight. This created an atmosphere that is both emotionally touching and functionally persuasive.
Design meets function: High-quality LED luminaires for every detail
At the centre of the lighting concept are products like CARDAN EVO with LF930 lens optics for accentuated lighting, DIAMO wallwashers for concrete staging, and PANOS pendant luminaires for accent lighting in the checkout area. The specially developed integration of the Supersystem Integral Gimbal 930 between wooden slats allows for maximum flexibility in product presentation and significantly contributes to brand-appropriate design. Each luminaire therefore integrates seamlessly into the interior while simultaneously fulfilling the highest lighting technology standards.
Sustainability in focus: Energy efficiency through LED technology
By switching to modern LED luminaires, power consumption was reduced by more than 50% compared to the previous lighting solution. This not only enhances the indoor environment by minimising heat production, but also actively promotes greater sustainability. A custom-developed solution – the Supersystem integrated into wooden slats – highlights the project's innovative strength. The result is a store concept that convincingly unites style, functionality, and environmental awareness.
