The Bucher Garden Center in Widnau elevates the shopping experience to a new level. With a sophisticated shop-in-shop concept, high-ceilinged spaces, and cutting-edge lighting technology, the plant world is perfectly showcased. Zumtobel's lighting solution combines functional with atmospheric lighting moods, ensuring an immersive experience.

Light that adapts – perfectly attuned to seasonal highlights
Thanks to the flexible TECTON continuous-row lighting system with tunable white technology, light colours and atmospheres can be adjusted seamlessly aligning with the shifting colour palettes of each season. High-quality LED luminaires don't just offer optimal colour rendering, but also protect sensitive plants by emitting IR- and UV-free light.
Design and functionality combined – integrating acoustics and safety.
TECTON integrates general lighting, emergency lighting, and acoustics into a cohesive system. The seamless integration of loudspeakers, sockets, and safety lighting ensures maximum functionality and safety. Custom special solutions - such as individually painted fixtures - emphasise the aesthetic vision of the garden centre.
Energy-efficient lighting for a sustainable future in the garden centre
In addition to top-tier light quality, the garden centre prioritises efficiency and eco-friendliness. Energy-saving LED technology, water-resistant features, and flexible control systems contribute to sustainable building utilisation. The collaborative partnership between Zumtobel and the lighting designers facilitated a bespoke, client-focused implementation.
