Pleasant learning atmosphere thanks to intelligent LED technology for LAU University

The Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut employs an innovative lighting concept that meets functional requirements whilst enhancing the well-being of students and employees. The aim was to create a pleasant learning environment through the use of modern LED technology and intelligent lighting controls while minimising power consumption.

High-quality luminaires for energy efficiency, design, and simple maintenance

The luminaires used included SLOTLIGHT infinity, PANOS infinity, KAVA, Omega Pro, Katona, Cetus, College LED, Aquaforce Pro, and Chalice. These products are distinguished by high energy efficiency, longevity, and an appealing design. Luminaires were chosen after considering ease of maintenance, simple cleaning, and optimal light distribution in the different areas of the university.​

LITECOM-System optimises lighting and supports hygiene standards

The lighting concept employs energy-efficient LED technology and smart lighting control systems like LITECOM to minimize power consumption. Sensors automatically adjust the lighting to the needs, offering additional comfort. The selected luminaires feature smooth surfaces that prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt, thereby enhancing hygiene.​
