Efficient lighting for a modern learning environment
The renovation and expansion of the school in Hohenems demanded stringent lighting requirements. In addition to an energy-efficient solution, the lighting quality needed be improved and adapted to modern learning conditions. Particularly in the renovated classrooms, corridors, and sports hall, optimal lighting was necessary to facilitate both daytime and evening use.
MIREL evolution – Superior visual comfort and energy efficiency
To meet these requirements, the previous louvre luminaires were replaced with the LED version of the MIREL evolution. Thanks to its high luminosity and uniform distribution, it creates a glare-free learning environment and meets the stricter lighting requirements for classrooms that are also used in the evening. In the corridors, the opal optics of the MIREL evolution create an open, daylight-like effect.
High-quality products for different application areas
In addition to the MIREL evolution, 2LIGHT Mini Downlights were installed for brilliant wall illumination. In the sports hall, custom LED luminaires replaced the old louvre luminaires, providing glare-free, ball-resistant lighting with high uniformity. The new lighting not only reduces power consumption, but also improves the visual comfort for students and teachers.
Sustainable technology for long-term efficiency
The LED solutions used offer high energy efficiency, long lifespan, and low maintenance costs. A customised lighting plan enabled optimal use of daylight, thereby further reducing electricity consumption. The sustainable lighting concept provides a modern, future-proof learning environment and quickly recoups its costs through reduced operating expenses.
