Customized lighting solution for peak logistics performance.
As part of the modernization of its warehouse near Northampton, Clipper Logistics relied on Zumtobel for over 1,000 TECTON luminaires. The goal was to create a flexible lighting system that enables individual control of each luminaire, including a corridor function with deactivation. Despite the high complexity, both companies overcame the challenge with their usual commitment to quality.
Continuous-row lighting system with sensors for efficiency and minimal maintenance
The TECTON LED continuous-row lighting system was installed in the shelving aisles and public areas. It boasts seamless light lines, a long lifespan (50,000 hours at 70% luminous flux), and high efficiency of up to 168 lm/W. The integrated sensors provide demand-optimized lighting, energy savings, and minimal maintenance costs – ideal for high-traffic logistics processes.
Safety through an intelligent emergency lighting solution
In addition to the main lighting, a powerful emergency lighting system was installed using RESCLITE PRO. The small, energy-efficient LED spots with precise light direction ensure safety in every area of the warehouse. The system is controlled via the central ONLITE eBOX – an intelligent control center capable of managing up to 600 emergency luminaires, offering maximum flexibility with minimal power consumption.

The combination of TECTON, RESCLITE PRO, and ONLITE eBOX offers a future-proof solution that combines maximum efficiency with sustainability. The individually switchable light strips and the integration of smart control systems ensure flexible adaptation to dynamic operational processes - perfectly tailored to the complex requirements of a modern logistics center.
